Ahead of next Saturday’s Governorship Election in Anambra
State, the President General of Enugwu-Agidi Community, Ambassador Ebuka
Onuorah over the weekend, led a walk event with the youths of Enugwu-Agidi,
mobilizing them across the entire community to reaffirm their commitment to the
All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
The walk, which reflected a vibrant display of community unity and cultural pride, aligns perfectly with the principles of the Healthy Living initiative of the wife of Anambra State Governor, Dr Nonye Soludo.
It witnessed a robust turnout of enthusiastic youths who
paraded through the streets of Enugwu-Agidi, waving APGA flags and various
party paraphernalia.
The event was enlivened by traditional cultural music, with
participants singing in unison, reinforcing the rallying call of 'One People,
One Party; APGA.'
The energetic procession underscored the community’s
solidarity and strong political support for APGA, highlighting the role of
youth engagement in fostering social cohesion and political participation
within Enugwu-Agidi.
Ambassador Onuorah’s leadership in this initiative reflects
a growing momentum towards community-driven advocacy and healthy cultural
expressions as part of the broader political landscape.
Governor Chukwuma Soludo, the incumbent governor is seeking
reelection, against the backdrop of massive developmental projects spread
across the nooks and crannies of Anambra State.
The endorsement of his party by the Enugwu-Agidi community,
led by the President-General, Hon Onuorah, lends credence to the people’s
general acceptance of the governor’s candidacy and the proactive political
alignment of the Enugwu-Agidi people for progressive development, under the
leadership of Hon Onuorah.
