The resounding victory of the candidate of the All Progressives
Grand Alliance, APGA in Saturday’s Governorship Election in Anambra State, Prof
Chukwuma Soludo has been described as testament to Anambra people’s general
acceptance of his style of governance.
The President General of the Enugwu Agidi Brotherly Union, Ambassador Honourable Ebuka Onuorah, stated this in a congratulatory message to the governor and his deputy, Dr Nkem Okeke on Monday in Awka, Anambra State capital.
Soludo had on Saturday, floored the candidate of the All
Progressives Congress, APC, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, to win reelection.
In the message, Hon Onuorah congratulated Governor Soludo
and his deputy, Dr. Ibezim, on their sweeping victory in the November 8
elections.
Describing the win as a clear endorsement of their
leadership, Onuorah praised the political maturity of the electorate and the
unity displayed across the state.
Onuorah commended the APGA community and the entire
Enugwu-Agidi populace for their unwavering support during the polls.
He emphasized how the community’s determination ensured that
APGA secured victory in every polling unit, fulfilling the promise made to
deliver success for the party and its candidates.
“This grassroots loyalty reflects the strength of local
engagement in the political process,” he said.
Onuorah also acknowledged the sterling leadership of
Governor Soludo and Deputy Governor Ibezim, highlighting their commitment to
transforming Anambra State into a first-world entity.
He lauded their ongoing socio-economic initiatives and
innovative policies that have visibly uplifted the state’s profile, earning the
admiration and trust of its citizens.
Praying for divine guidance and protection, Ambassador
Onuorah called on the people to continue supporting the Governor and his deputy
as they embark on their new term.
He stressed that sustained prayers and unity would be vital
in helping the administration achieve its lofty goals and maintain peace and
progress throughout Anambra.
“This landslide victory not only reinforces the popularity
of Soludo and Ibezim but also shines a spotlight on the collective spirit of
communities like Enugwu-Agidi.
“Ndi Enugwu Agidi are indeed happy. Ride on Oluatuegwu,” the
message concluded.
